PCB Sampling

According to the law n. 185/2001, EEIKA Brno, s.r.o. takes samples on account of the PCBs determination. Unless they are able to prove that their equipment does not contain PBCs, according to this waste law, owners of the equipments which can contain PCBs are obligated to decontaminate or remove them at earliest possible time, at the latest by the end of the year 2010. The law applies for all equipment the amount of with the working fluid 5 litres and more.

Substation operators are obligated to file content of PBCs – on account of the producer’s declaration (in the case of substations which were demonstrably not manipulated) or a test in an accredited laboratory.

The owner who does not perform this duty takes a risk of penalty up to 100 000 CZK.

The EEIKA Brno, s.r.o. staff passed a special course and they are holders of certificate for managers of PCBs sampling (Manažer vzorkování pro účely evidence zařízení s obsahem PCB dle ČSN EN 45013) from the certification institution CERT-ACO.

On account of this qualification our employees professionally sample the liquid and provide appropriate tests in an accredited laboratory. The conclusion is the basis of PCBs law registration.

EEIKA Brno, s.r.o. technicians sample any types of equipment. Regarding their specialization and qualification, they focus mainly on power equipments. Thanks to their experience and technical equipment, they are able to manipulate the equipment professionally. As for the substations, they provide the activation (they exercise visual control if needed), etc.
