Temporary substations are used for coverage of temporarily increased electricity supply on a particular supply point, e.g. large work sites, infrastructure construction, highway section construction and reconstruction, cultural and sport events.

Temporary substation is installed on the work site before the start of electricity supply. In the end, the substation is uninstalled and took away.

Temporary substations are easy to handle, the technology is placed in a light, generally metal, plastic or concrete kiosk.

Advantages of temporary substation

Using of temporary substations is economical, which is one of their main advantages. In some cases, it is uneconomical and unnecessarily expensive to build a permanent substation.
